Thursday

palm tree earring- i only have one, the other is buried deep in the mud of reading. i have all my fashion coursework in for monday and the amount i have to do (20+ hours of hand embroidery for starters) is devastating. up till 3am every night has made me really tired. and sad. super sad and tired.

Monday

I've been ok this week: I've been to the Courtauld, found my favourite cafe, watched multiple numbers of fantastic films, one being The Artist, finished the most amazing book and started a new one, be told my hair has grown and that I'm getting taller (!), got halfway up to date with sketchbook work, drunk too much and slept too little. I've also been asked to do a few things here and there, resulting in the planning of a few projects in the near future that I can't wait to get started on. There has been sad things too but I haven't had a week as good as the past in quite a while.

Wednesday

(ph: private)

Today I had only had one lesson so I went into the city for the remainder of the day; I saw some of my favourite paintings at the courtauld gallery, had the most amazing lunch in covent garden and bought some macarons. I also finished Tracey Emin's 'My Life in a Column' which I'm sad about, it's definitely my favourite book/curation I've ever read, yet I'm not sure why I loved it so much.

Most of the photos are from today, others are of beautiful mornings and bedroom shadows/light/shadows/light

Tuesday

The collars I made my friends for Christmas.

Wednesday

Tuesday

I went to the V&A, again, on Friday instead of going to my afternoon lessons. It's one of my favourite places, espeically when it's at its quitest. I then bought some gingerbread and went home.
On Saturday I was home alone and I ate too many macarons and got slightly drunk
It's been a bad week; I am so behind in college work and people are ignoring me and I feel quite lonely. I hope it feels like Christmas soon.

Friday

I had such a lovely day yesterday; i went to the Dazed & Confused exhibition at Somerset house, which was so wonderfully put together. The Salo installation was my favourite. I then walked to Covent Garden and had a tomato, spinach and feta savoury muffin. After that I went to the V&A and spent the whole afternoon drawing for my fashion project and then people watched in the cafe.

#1 the Renaissance sculpture court at the V&A
#2 Interstellar Overdrive, Kate Moss by Juergen Teller, Dazed and Confused Nov. '97

Thursday

i spent yesterday at the museum of london, (re)doing a response for my fashion project. the clothes are wonderful and i could watch the film that plays behind the 60s display all day, i can still hear the music now.

i also went to band practice as i'm writing an interview on them for the college magazine. i looked like such a groupie but i had loads of fun

Tuesday

The Moscow Metro- designed to be reflective and radiant, sybolizing eternal life and happiness within the concept of the sun. The purpose of the metro being so artfully designed was that the commuters saw the art above them as the sun and, therefore, the Soviet Union would be associated with beauty and hope.

I love my history syllabus.

Monday

i only have two days at college this week so i'm looking forward to spending three days uptown.
i cannot stop listening to el perro del mar
